There are buses to Glossop station from Ashton-under-Lyne (237), Hyde (341), and Buxton, Whaley Bridge, New Mills and Hayfield (61).

By car, Glossop is on the A57, half-way between Manchester and Sheffield.  There is free parking on nearby streets or after 6pm in nearby Edward Street Car Park.
